Sherborne is a mature 18-hole parkland James Braid designed course which measures just over 6,400 yards from the back tees, playing to a par 72. With a variety of teeing options that offer the elite to beginner golfer a rewarding experience
The clubhouse and course offer wonderful vistas over the Blackmore Vale to the South and Glastonbury Tor to the North.
The club prides itself on its warm & friendly welcome to members & visitors alike. We have an active membership, with many golf & social events taking place throughout the year.
We welcome societies & visitors and offer excellent golf, good home-cooked food & a fine selection of beer & wine.
Course Opening Times
The course is open as normal every day over the Xmas and New Year period from 8 a.m. including Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day. Please note the locker room, clubhouse and pro shop opening times shown below.
Non-booking time each day from 8.00 a.m. to 10.24 a.m.with tee bookings required from 10.33 a.m. onwards each day
Players can choose to start a general play round from the 12th tee any day of the week but must ensure they reach the 1st tee by 10.24 at the latest to ensure players with booked tee times from 10.33 a.m. onwards can begin their round. Players starting their round from the 1st tee should alternate with players coming off the 18th hole who started their round from the 12th tee. All competition rounds must start from 1st tee. Always check the ClubV1 app tee sheet before starting a round off the 12th tee to ensure the 1st tee is not booked.
